Submission Guidelines

Bruja Magazine is a place for expression through art, words, ritual, and food. It is more than empowerment—it is love through shared information, a return to curiosity, and a space to remember what the soul already knows. All magic begins with intention—and that includes creative collaboration. To learn how we protect and honor your work, please review our Contributor Agreement before submitting. We encourage all artists to read it fully so you know exactly how your creations will be shared and credited.

We publish four print issues per year and also feature selected submissions on our blog and Instagram throughout the seasons. You are welcome to submit to more than one category, but all submissions must be original and previously unpublished. Submissions will be accepted either by email at brujamagazineusa@gmail.com or via the form below.

Print vs Digital Publishing

Bruja Magazine publishes four print issues per year, aligned with the turning of the seasons—Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. While not all submissions will be selected for print, your work may still be featured on our digital blog or on Instagram, where we share stories, spells, and art throughout the year.

This is a living magazine—just like you.
A place where creation moves in cycles, and visibility takes many forms.

✦ How Submissions Are Selected:

  • Print Issues: Chosen based on alignment with the season’s theme, originality, artistic cohesion, and depth. We aim for a balance of written work, visual art, photography, and spiritual insight.

  • Digital Blog Features: Selected for storytelling resonance, timelessness, and thematic connection—even if not seasonally specific. These features may include interviews, essays, or multi-part stories.

  • Instagram Highlights: Curated for visual impact, soul, and short-form storytelling. These often include quotes, poetry excerpts, photo sets, and artist spotlights that inspire our community in real-time.

All submissions are reviewed with care and intention. If selected for any platform, we’ll reach out to you with next steps and publication timing.
