The Empress and the Inner Child: The Sacred Lesson of the Divine Feminine

Oleksandra Fomichova of yourrrr_soul and lead writer for Bruja Magazine’s Sacred Feminine column explores the idea that true Divine Feminine energy is not rooted solely in strength, beauty, intuition, or power, but in the willingness to confront and heal the wounded inner child carried within. Through themes of vulnerability, self-compassion, emotional honesty, and inner healing, the piece examines how the journey toward embodying the “Empress” archetype begins with acknowledging the parts of ourselves shaped by childhood wounds, unmet needs, and emotional memory.

There is a particular kind of art that unsettles and attracts in equal measure. It does not exist to comfort, but to reveal.
