Editorial Feature: A Solstice Offering

By Epifania Arriagada, Editor-in-Chief

This Summer Solstice, I gathered with a circle of extraordinary women to celebrate the longest day of the year—a sacred moment of stillness, reflection, and radiant transformation. From ancient traditions to modern rites, the Solstice has always marked a powerful threshold. A time to pause. A time to witness. A time to become.

At The Meadow AZ, our circle honored the light with bare feet in the grass, flower crowns upon our heads, and hearts open to whatever needed to rise. On June 21, we stood in the peak of the sun’s embrace. On June 22, we allowed that light to integrate. And on June 23, we leaned into the mystical veil of midsummer—where dreams stir and shadows soften.

And now, on June 24, I offer these images not just as a visual diary—but as spellwork. As prayer. As a celebration of what it means to gather with intention and create in communion with the Earth and each other.

These photos are a love letter to sisterhood, to sensuality, to the sacred art of being seen. They capture more than beauty—they capture the moment when presence becomes power, when creativity becomes ceremony.

As the Editor-in-Chief of Bruja Magazine, this work is deeply personal. It is the reason this space exists: to witness, to remember, and to reclaim. Through food, laughter, ritual, and shared magic, we reminded ourselves that light doesn’t ask for perfection. It simply asks us to show up—raw, real, and radiant.

To the sun, thank you for lingering.
To these women, thank you for rising with me.
To this season, we welcome the next unfolding.
